About The Syria Museum
Our Mission
The Syria Museum aims to bring attention to the rich history of Syria, whose cultural heritage has been significantly impacted by the ongoing war. It also recognizes the positive impact that Syrians have had outside of Syria, particularly in the US.
History
Started in 2020 as a project of the Syrian American Council, our museum has grown to include full time staff and an advisory committee.
Innovation
Using the latest in technology, The Syria Museum will allow Syrians to own their narratives and share them across the globe.
Remembrance and education will be paired with calls to action and interactive exhibits that allow visitors to view and feel the spirit of Syria as Syrians do.
